Everyday Activities
Each day our van goes to various Safeway stores and Bakeries to pick up the day old bread and pasteries, which are donated.

Making of the Sandwiches
Eggs are being prepared for fillings for the sandwiches.
Either cheese, peanut butter, egg, ham or salmon sandwiches are made each day by our 200 Volunteers.
About 1000 sandwiches are made each day!

Making of the Soup
Three large pots are used to make the homemade soup: turkey, pea, fish or Italian Goulash.

End of Day
Our Staff and Volunteers place two sandwiches and two pasteries in a bag along with whatever is donated today or during the week, sometimes yogurt, a piece of fruit and candy.
Now it is time to open the "Sandwich Windows" and hand a prepared bag and a bowl of soup to each of the men and women in our line. Approximately 450 come each day.

Men's Clothing Room
Each day about 50 men visit the room for clean clothes, toiletries and bedding. Our staff and volunteers keep the room well staffed with items.
 
In giving the food and clothing items in a Respectful and Dignified manner, we hope the individual will experience God's love and care.
